About HEARTY GATHERINGS

Karla Medrano is a board certified Physician Assistant currently specializing in Electrophysiology. Her passion in patient education started during her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma where she volunteered at clinics both locally in the community and internationally in Latin America while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Spanish and Anthropology. 

Following her undergraduate studies her training continued at Methodist University in North Carolina where she obtained her Masters of Medical Science and board certification. After graduation, she practiced cardiology within the community there and then decided to further her speciality in electrophysiology when she moved to Dallas, Texas January 2023. Each day she looks forward to growing relationships with her patients and breaking down the science and medicine so that patients are well educated and understand their current health conditions.

 In her free time she enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, reading books, and spending time with friends and family especially her nieces Milania and Valencia.
